Brand New BMP-1 Track Links – Current Production (2023+)
Available Only on Request – Serious Buyers Only
This is the absolute best option. There are no better tracks than these.
Let’s be completely honest from the start – this is the most expensive option of the three track choices we offer. But if you’re restoring a museum-quality BMP-1, planning serious operational use, or simply refuse to compromise on quality, this is the only option that makes sense. These are the same tracks currently being manufactured for the Polish Army and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yes, you read that right – combat-grade, current production tracks.
What you’re getting:
Factory new track links, manufactured from 2023 onwards. Not older than 2 years. Not New Old Stock from the 1980s. Not good condition used. Brand new, straight from the factory, made to the exact same specifications that kept Soviet and Russian armoured vehicles running for decades.
Thanks to our wide network of suppliers and years of building relationships across the military supply chain, we are now able to offer these to our customers. This wasn’t possible even a few years ago, and frankly, we’re pretty excited about it.
Technical specifications:
These tracks are manufactured exactly to the original Soviet specification. No corners cut, no modern “improvements” that actually make things worse, no substitutions. The same rubber compounds, the same steel alloys, the same heat treatment processes. If the original Soviet engineers specified it in the 1960s, it’s in these tracks today.
Service life: These tracks will last the entire 3000 kilometres before needing replacement. That’s not a guess – that’s the actual specified service life from the manufacturer. For most collectors and enthusiasts, that’s essentially a lifetime supply. Even if you drive your BMP regularly at military vehicle shows and events, you’re looking at years of trouble-free use.
BMP-1 and BMP-2 variants available:
It is possible to order these in the BMP-2 variant, which uses different track link connectors and requires different drive sprocket rings. If you’re working on a BMP-2 or any of its derivatives, make sure to specify this when you contact us. The price will be the same, but the parts are not interchangeable, so we need to know which variant you need.
Compatibility:
BMP-1, OT-90, BMP-2, and all vehicles based on these suspension systems.
Storage and longevity:
If you’re not installing these immediately (maybe you’re still working on other parts of your restoration), these tracks can be stored for up to five years in dry conditions with temperatures around 15-20°C without any influence on the rubber quality. Store them properly, and they’ll be ready to go whenever you need them.
Warranty:
12 months or 3000 kilometres for business buyers, 24 months for individual buyers, whichever comes first. This is a manufacturer’s warranty, and it’s about as comprehensive as you’re going to get for armoured vehicle tracks.
Who should buy these tracks?
This option is only for those who are the most determined and need the highest quality. If you’re:
- Restoring a museum-quality vehicle that will be displayed or demonstrated regularly
- Planning actual operational use (yes, some of our customers do this)
- Building a vehicle that needs to be absolutely reliable
- Unwilling to compromise on authenticity and quality
- Working on a high-value restoration where the track cost is a reasonable proportion of the total project
Then these are your tracks. No question about it.
Who should probably buy something else?
If you’re building a static display vehicle, working with a limited budget, or just need to get your project mobile for occasional use, our New Old Stock tracks or good condition used tracks will serve you perfectly well at a fraction of the cost. There’s no shame in that – not every restoration needs combat-grade current production parts.
Pricing and availability:
These tracks are available only on request. Price is provided on asking, and it will be significantly higher than our New Old Stock or used options. We’re not being coy about pricing – it’s just that costs fluctuate based on current production schedules, stock size, our suppliers’ availability, and exchange rates. We’ll give you an exact quote when you contact us, and that quote will be valid for a reasonable period.
Lead time: Because these are ordered specifically for you from current production, expect a lead time of several days to several weeks, depending on the shipping and handling . We’ll give you a realistic timeline when you inquire.
Shipping: Due to the size and weight (remember, a complete set is over 1200 kg), shipping will be arranged on a pallet or small truck. Shipping costs will be calculated based on your location and will be in addition to the track cost. Expect shipping to start from €500 and go up from there, depending on your location.
Serious buyers only, please.
We say this respectfully, but we need to be clear: if you’re just browsing, curious about pricing, or not ready to commit to a serious restoration project, these might not be for you right now. The quoting process takes time, involves our suppliers, and requires us to reserve significant amount of time and money. We’re happy to help serious customers, but we ask that you only inquire if you’re genuinely ready to move forward with a high-quality restoration.
How to order:
These tracks are not available through our regular online store. You need to contact us directly. Please include:
- Whether you need BMP-1 or BMP-2 variant
- Your location (for shipping calculations)
- Quantity needed (one set or more)
- Your timeline for the project
- Any specific questions about the tracks
We’ll get back to you with a detailed quote, more photos, lead time, and shipping costs.
The bottom line:
If you want the absolute best tracks money can buy for your BMP restoration – the same tracks that are going into service with professional military forces right now – this is it. There are no better tracks than these. But they come at a premium price, and they’re only for those who are serious about quality and willing to pay for it.
If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.
Stay awesome!
