New Rosava ВИ-3 1300×530-533 Tyres for Kraz 255B and Kraz 260

€850 per tyre (includes inner tube)

If you own a Kraz 255B or Kraz 260, you already know the painful truth – finding proper tyres for these massive Soviet trucks has become nearly impossible. The 1300×530-533 size (also designated as 530/70R21) is one of the rarest Soviet military tyre sizes still in demand, and the supply situation has been a nightmare since 2022.

These brand new Rosava ВИ-3 tyres are manufactured fresh to order in 2025, which means you can finally stop driving on cracked, aged rubber from the 1990s and worrying about every police check and technical inspection. When you’re piloting a truck that weighs 10 tonnes empty and can haul another 10 tonnes of cargo, you need tyres you can actually trust – not ancient warehouse stock that’s been slowly degrading for the past decade.

And yes, the price includes a brand new inner tube – because we know that finding proper tubes for this size is just as difficult as finding the tyres themselves. You get a complete, ready-to-mount package.

How Ordering Works – What to Expect:

These tyres are not sitting in our warehouse – they’re manufactured specifically to customer orders. Here’s exactly how the process works:

1. You place your order through our secure online store (Visa/Mastercard payment)

2. We order from Rosava factory within 24 hours (you’ll receive order confirmation)

3. Factory production: 3-4 weeks – Rosava produces these tyres in monthly batches for military and commercial customers. Your tyres are manufactured fresh during this time.

4. Delivery to you: 3-5 working days once the tyres arrive at our facility in Poland

Total timeline: Approximately 4-5 weeks from order to delivery

Yes, this is longer than ordering tyres that are already sitting in a warehouse somewhere. But here’s what you’re getting for that wait: Tyres that are literally 1-2 weeks old when they arrive at your door. Fresh rubber with full structural integrity, proper elasticity, and 100% of their service life ahead of them. Compare that to buying “new” tyres that have been sitting in storage for 3-5 years and are already degrading.

We’ll send you weekly updates during production with photos and status reports, so you always know exactly where your tyres are in the process.

Your Payment is Completely Protected

We understand that €850 per tyre (€5,100 for six tyres, €6,800 for eight tyres) is a significant investment, especially when ordering from another country with a 4-5 week delivery time. That’s why we’ve structured our business around secure payment processing.

All payments go through our online store’s secure payment processor with full Visa/Mastercard buyer protection. This means:

✅ If your tyres don’t arrive as promised, you have complete chargeback rights through your credit card company
✅ Chargeback protection lasts up to 120 days after payment
✅ Your bank/card issuer will refund your money while investigating any dispute
✅ You’re not trusting just our word – you’re protected by your card issuer’s guarantee

We deliberately use this payment method (instead of direct bank transfers) to ensure you’re completely secure throughout the ordering and delivery process. Your money is protected, period.

Military-Grade Quality You Can Trust

These aren’t civilian tyres adapted for military use – they’re purpose-built military tyres that happen to be available to civilians. The Rosava ВИ-3 1300×530-533 is currently in active service with the Polish Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. When armies are depending on these tyres in combat conditions, in the mud of Donbas and the forests of eastern Poland, you know they’re built to a standard that far exceeds what you’ll ever ask of them on your weekend adventures.

Why Rosava beats the alternatives:

Chinese knock-offs: Sure, you can find cheaper Chinese-made tyres that look similar. But “looking similar” doesn’t mean they perform the same. Chinese manufacturers often cut corners on rubber compounds, use inferior steel belting, and skip the rigorous testing that military-grade tyres undergo. We’ve seen Chinese tyres fail catastrophically after just a few months of use – sidewall separation, tread delamination, and sudden deflation. Not something you want to experience when you’re driving a 10-tonne Kraz 50 kilometers from civilization.

Russian tyres: Before 2022, Russian tyre manufacturers like Omskshina and Kama produced decent military tyres. But international sanctions have severely limited their access to modern rubber additives – plasticizers, antioxidants, and reinforcement compounds that are essential for tyre longevity and performance. Without these critical components, Russian tyres manufactured after 2022 are significantly inferior to their pre-war counterparts. The rubber degrades faster, handles temperature extremes poorly, and loses elasticity much quicker. We’re seeing reports of “new” Russian tyres cracking and hardening within 18-24 months of manufacture – basically useless before they even get mounted on a vehicle.

Rosava advantage: Ukrainian manufacturers still have full access to Western suppliers of modern rubber additives and compounds. The same technology that goes into premium European tyres goes into these military-spec Rosava tyres. You’re getting:

  • Advanced silica-reinforced rubber compounds for better grip and longevity
  • Modern antioxidants that prevent premature aging and cracking
  • Temperature-resistant plasticizers that keep the rubber flexible from -60°C to +55°C
  • Quality control standards that meet both Ukrainian military specifications and European civilian safety regulations

When Ukrainian forces are rolling through mud, snow, and debris on these tyres while under fire, and Polish Army logistics trucks are hauling supplies across Europe on them, you can trust they’ll handle whatever you throw at them.

Plus, there’s something satisfying about knowing your money is supporting Ukrainian manufacturing capability rather than funding authoritarian regimes in Russia or China. Your Kraz deserves tyres that share its legendary toughness – and these Rosava tyres deliver exactly that.

Why the ВИ-3 Pattern is Perfect for Your Kraz:

The ВИ-3 (VI-3) is a universal tread pattern that strikes the perfect balance between on-road performance and off-road capability. Unlike purely aggressive off-road patterns that are noisy and wear quickly on pavement, or highway patterns that struggle in mud, the VI-3 does both jobs well.

The Kraz 255B and Kraz 260 were built as heavy cargo haulers that needed to perform on both military roads (meaning: barely roads at all) and on actual highways when hauling supplies across the Soviet Union. The VI-3 tread pattern was designed specifically for this mission – capable enough for serious off-road work, but civilized enough for highway driving.

Features:

  • Universal tread pattern – Performs well on highways, gravel roads, and moderate off-road terrain
  • Directional design – Optimized for traction and water evacuation
  • Self-cleaning tread – Lugs are spaced to shed mud and debris effectively
  • Reduced road noise – More comfortable for highway driving than aggressive off-road patterns
  • Heavy-duty construction – 12-ply rating handles the extreme weight of loaded Kraz trucks
  • Reinforced sidewalls – Protects against curb damage and rough terrain hazards
  • Excellent load capacity – Rated for 3550 kg per tyre (3250 kg at higher speeds)
  • All-weather capability – Reliable performance in rain, snow, mud, and dry conditions
  • All-climate rated – Operates reliably from -60°C to +55°C
  • Includes inner tube – High-quality tube included, ready to mount

Technical Specifications:

  • Tyre size: 1300×530-533 (also designated 530/70R21)
  • Load index: 152/149 (3550 kg / 3250 kg per tyre)
  • Speed rating: F (80 km/h)
  • Tread pattern: ВИ-3 / VI-3 (universal)
  • Ply rating: 12PR
  • Overall diameter: Approximately 1300 mm
  • Section width: Approximately 530 mm
  • Recommended rim: 533 mm (21 inches)
  • Tube type: Tubed (tube included)
  • Fits vehicles: Kraz 255B, Kraz 260, and derivatives
  • Manufactured: 2025 production (fresh from factory)

These tyres are manufactured by Rosava, one of the most respected tyre manufacturers in Eastern Europe, using modern technologies while maintaining compatibility with classic Soviet military vehicles. The same tyres are currently supplied to Polish and Ukrainian armed forces – proven in the most demanding conditions imaginable.

Why Kraz Owners Choose These Tyres:

Let’s be honest – if you own a Kraz 255B or 260, you’re already dealing with one of the most challenging Soviet military vehicles to maintain. Parts are scarce, documentation is limited, and finding anyone who actually knows how to work on these beasts is difficult. The last thing you need is the additional headache of trying to source proper tyres.

The Kraz trucks are some of the largest and most capable Soviet military vehicles ever built. The 255B with its 6×6 configuration and the 260 with its various axle configurations were designed to haul massive loads across terrain that would stop most other trucks. But all that capability depends entirely on having proper tyres.

These Rosava 1300×530-533 tyres give your Kraz what it needs. The VI-3 pattern provides good highway manners when you’re driving to shows or events, but still has enough bite for off-road work when needed. The heavy construction handles the extreme weight these trucks carry. And the modern rubber compounds mean these tyres will still be performing reliably 10-15 years from now.

Compare this to trying to run on whatever ancient tyres you can scrounge from surplus dealers – tyres that might be from the 1980s or 1990s, stored improperly, already cracking and hardening. That’s not maintaining your truck – that’s gambling with your safety and the truck’s mechanical systems every time you drive it.

About the Kraz 255B and 260:

For those unfamiliar with these legendary trucks: The Kraz 255B is a 6×6 heavy cargo truck produced in Ukraine (Kremenchug Automobile Plant) from 1967 to 1994. It features a powerful V8 diesel engine and was one of the Soviet military’s primary heavy haulers. The Kraz 260 (and its variants like 6443, 65055, etc.) continued the line with updated features and various axle configurations including 6×4 and 6×6.

These trucks are massive – we’re talking about vehicles that make a Zil 131 look small. With cargo capacities of 10-12 tonnes and gross vehicle weights over 20 tonnes, these are serious pieces of equipment. They require serious tyres.

Important Note About Inner Tubes:

The included inner tubes are heavy-duty military-spec tubes designed specifically for this tyre size. Don’t underestimate the importance of proper tubes – cheap civilian tubes in this size will fail under the weight and stress that Kraz trucks generate. The tubes we include are built for military service and will handle the job properly.

If you need additional spare tubes, we have them available separately. Many Kraz owners keep at least one spare tube on hand, which is smart planning for vehicles of this size and rarity.

Warranty and Shipping:

Warranty: 24-month manufacturer warranty for individual buyers, 12-month manufacturer warranty for business buyers (Rosava factory warranty)

Shipping: Tyres are shipped from Jarocin, Poland and can be delivered to Germany and most EU countries within 3-7 working days after production is complete. Due to the size and weight of these tyres, shipping costs are higher than smaller sizes – typically €450-600 for Germany for a set of six tyres. Exact costs will be calculated automatically at checkout based on your location.

For urgent deliveries after production, we can organize express shipping within 48 hours at additional cost.

Personal collection: Also possible and encouraged – we’re located in Jarocin, about 230 kilometres from Frankfurt (Oder) on the E30 motorway (A2) and the S11 motorway. If you want to collect personally, we’ll notify you as soon as your tyres arrive from the factory. Given the size and weight of these tyres, many customers prefer to collect them personally with their own transport.
