Low mileage Zil 131 Radio Body trucks straight from Polish Army. They are in very good, like new condition. Several to choose from, mileage varies from 150 to about 1800 kilometers. Made between 1972 and 1986.

These trucks were the backbone of command and controls system used by entire Warsaw Pact, with the Red Army in the lead. From the plains or German Democratic Republic to the windy shores of Kamchatka, from frozen Polar circle to extremely hot deserts of Central Asia – they were everywhere. Not to mention jungles of Vietnam, sands of Egypt or savannas of Angola – proven in every climate and in all conditions, Zil 131 is one of the most iconic military trucks ever made.

We have prepared them for use by their new owners:

• installed new batteries;
• all vehicles were test driven;
• carburettors were checked and adjusted when necessary;
• spark plugs were exchanged to new, original Russian ones;
• all fluids were changed;
• brakes were tested and work very well;

Our Zil 131 trucks can be modified to customer’s specification including:

• new road or off-road Stomil 12.00×20 tires;
• modifications of the Radio Box to a camper;
• LPG conversion to improve fuel efficiency;
• replacement of power generator with a winch;
• respray to desired camo pattern or colour;

Zil 131 is a formidable off-road vehicle and a must-have for every fan of Russian and Soviet military vehicles. It’s 6×6 configuration enables it to behave very well off-road and a its V8 petrol engine allows for a comfortable cruising at 75-80 km/hour on paved roads.

Great vehicle for both off-road and road trips, can also become a camper and your best friend during military vehicle shows. Imagine yourself, sitting comfortably and drinking hot tea in one of these, while everybody else are trembling in their tents, exposed to the elements. Seems good to have an actual roof above your head, right?

Why would you want one? Because Zil 131 is one of the best military truck out there.

Firstly, it’s simple in construction and modern enough to be very reliable, isn’t afraid of mud and sand, can go through almost any kind of obstacle you can find for it. Secondly, even if it breaks down, you can fix is with a hammer, screwdriver and a few wrenches. Can’t do that with modern day trucks full of electronics. Thirdly and most importantly it’s a perfect vehicle for those, who love to do a little tinkering and problem solving by themselves. If you’re one of those people, you can’t go wrong, buying one.

Big enough to impress all your neighbours and small enough to be comfortable in use. Contrary to beasts like Kraz 255B, Zil 131 can be driven on public roads on daily basis without too much hassle. Where Ural 375D might be a bit too big for most people, Zil 131 will be perfect.
